About "Courtly Love": For fifteen months, "Courtly Love" was my continuing series for the Monthly Online Manga competition, of which I was a contestant. Some of the storylines may seem a bit peculiar, for this competition encourages storytellers to broaden their horizons by forcing their entries to pertain to one or both of a pair of peer-selected themes. However, "Courtly Love" is no longer affiliated with the Monthly Online Manga competition, so the storyline may flow a bit more smoothly in the future.

"Courtly Love" shall continue to be updated, however, until the story is completed.

Unlike most of my other works, these pages are illuminated in brilliant colors. This habit began when I created the first installments, which had art so unsightly it had to be otherwise disguised, and now I fear the characters cannot be distinguished from one another without the aid of lavish inks and paints. The future may bring alterations in the way these colors are applied, but, if time permits, the prints shall always be illuminated in various ways.

Now, gentle readers, I entreat thee to become learned of the exploits of our beloved Queen Olivia and those she chooses to surround herself with.
