First appearance: Issue
1, page 1 Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown Height: 5'6 Birthday: August 3 Age at first appearance: 16 Occupation: Student Powers: flight (using wings); if she spins around three times, she will glow and destroy anything (besides living things) that she touches in the next 30 seconds; can protect herself by glowing for 30 minutes Author's Notes: Miranda is pretty much based off myself. In fact, the only differences between us are that she has superpowers, she has the guts to dye at least part of her hair, and I would NEVER have any trouble sleeping (even if the world was ending the next day!). Oh, yeah, and she's able to find a boyfriend. She looks just like me, though. |

1, page 1 Hair: Light Brown Eyes: Gray Height: 5'8 Birthday: January 26 Age at first appearance: 23 Occupation: Telemarketer (after issue 13) Powers: can read minds Author's Notes: Honestly, I really don't like Kris...he's supposed to be a real jerk later on in the series, but I doubt I'll get that far. As it is, he's a womanizer, and I can't STAND womanaizers. He's also supposed to be rather good-looking, but of course I didn't get that across. |

1, page 4 Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Height: 5'7 Birthday: November 7 Age at first appearance: 30 Occupation: Biochemist Powers: can shapeshift into anything Author's Notes: She was supposed to be really smart, but I never gave her much of a personality. But I guess that helped make sure people didn't get too attached to her... One of the reasons Jeremy got so worked up when she was killed was because she was kind of a 'mother' figure to him. |

1, page 6 Hair: Blonde Eyes: Brown Height: 5'6 Birthday: May 10 Age at first appearance: 17 Occupation: None Powers: can speak mentally with animals Author's Notes: I have no idea why I made Miranda's boyfriend someone who can talk with animals...but other than that, he pretty much has the traits I liked in guys when I wrote this series. (Very quiet!) He is amazingly sweet, though. I'm not telling why I made him get a haircut, though... |

1, page 9 Hair: Red Eyes: Green Height: 6'0 Birthday: March 8, 1734 Occupation: Investor Powers: eternal youth, not harmed by hits that don't draw blood, flight w/out wings Author's Notes: Actually, in my earliest plans, Jonathan was the one who met Miranda at the beginning of Fox Tales, but I decided he should be more reclusive. He also originally had to piece clothes together from other peoples' castoffs, and so had mismatched shoes, but that looked funny, so I had to change it. He wears mismatched shoelaces before he meets Anna again, though. |

1, page 10 Hair: Brown Eyes: Violet Height: 5'7 Birthday: September 13 Age at first appearance: 22 Occupation: works at fast-food restaurant Powers: can generate 6 in long devestating pink energy beams from hands, above average agility and strength Author's Notes: Mindy was supposed to be a terrifying character, but she grew on me; now she's one of my favorites. I can't help but feel sorry for her... She's supposed to be quite beautiful. |

3, page 2 Hair: Red Eyes: Brown Height: 5'9 Birthday: July 27 Age at first appearance: 31 Occupation: manager of a clothing store Powers: not harmed by fire as long as he's conscious Author's Notes: He really enjoys fighting. Other than that, he doesn't have much personality. Well, he is a good leader. |

First appearance: Issue
3, page 15 Hair: Orange Eyes: Green Height: 5'6 Birthday: August 14 Age at first appearance: 29 Occupation: high school English teacher Powers: telekinesis Author's Notes: I haven't had a chance to establish her character much in the comic, but she's an alcoholic, for one thing. |

3, page 10 First speaking role: Issue 5, page 2 Hair: Blonde Eyes: Brown Height: 5'8 Birthday: July 27 Age at first appearance: 29 Occupation: secretary Powers: projects energy eyebeam from left eye when eyepatch removed, clothing works as armor, hands are invulnerable Author's Notes: I honestly didn't put much thought into her character; she kind of reminds me of Mindy, only not so angry. She's been through a lot, though. I like her scars. In case you didn't notice, she always wears green. The one person who's told me her favorite character in Fox Tales said it was Heather. No idea why... She really doesn't like to lead, but will do it if she needs to; maybe that makes her interesting. |

5, page 14 Hair: Black Eyes: Black Height: 5'4 Birthday: June 27 Age at first appearance: 19 Occupation: first at Carl's Jr., then a furniture mover Powers: strong; able to extend fingernails to be about 10 in long and razor sharp Author's Notes: I used to be frightened of Edward, but ever since I bothered giving him a personality, I found him interesting...I'm almost starting to like him, even. (I guess I can see the 'good' in him that no one else can see, mostly because I haven't really given him any positive traits in the whole series!) I've actually got one more story with him in it that makes him the tragic figure (!) but I don't know if it will ever get done. Appearance-wise, he's supposed to be a dead ringer for Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day. But I've actually come across several people who have a likeness to him. They scare me. |

5, page 20 Hair: Lavender Eyes: Blue Height: 5'4 Birthday: November 28 Age at first appearance: 32 Occupation: none Powers: shocks anyone or any metal she touches (static electricity) Author's Notes: Sparky's kind of a sad character, really--she can't touch anyone (a la X-Men's Rogue) but is also funny-looking, so she can't really function outside the world of the Wolves. She also doesn't think much of herself, judging from her clothes... And, of course, Sparky is not her real name. |

6, page 1 Hair: Brown Eyes: Blue Height: 5'7 Birthday: April 1 Age at first appearance: 33 Occupation: hypnotist (doesn't use his powers, though) Powers: able to fully hypnotize one person (their eyes turn white; his glow yellow), his victims feel whatever pain he experiences while hypnotized Author's Notes: David is my most pathetic character--not to say that I didn't put any thought into him, but just to say he makes me very sad. I feel extremely sorry for him, which is kind of odd, considering his past. His relation to Edward is rather clichéd, I know, but any other relationships I could think of would be just too risque. I guess I should've stuck with keeping him either evil or good; I don't have much of an excuse for his sudden 'transformation...' |

3, page 15 First speaking role: Issue 7, page 1 Hair: Naturally brown; sometimes dyed blue Eyes: Hazel Height: 5'7 Birthday: February 14 Age at first appearance: 18 Occupation: works 60 hours a week at the Target department store Powers: projects destructive energy from pink energy 'bow' he creates with energy Author's Notes: Matt is fairly shy (actually, most of the males in "Fox Tales" are!). He hates confrontations... |

First appearance: Issue
8, page 19 Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown Height: 5'5 Birthday: April 17, 1735 Occupation: none Powers: eternal youth, not harmed by hits that don't draw blood, flight with wings Author's Notes: She's kind of a stereotypical 1950s (!) woman...not very independent, but then, considering when she was born, that's probably okay. She's really not THAT much of a wimp, though...honest! |
|
First appearance: Issue
12, page 15 Hair: Magenta (dyed) Eyes: Brown Height: 5'5 Birthday: June 10 Age at first appearance: 18 Occupation: none Powers: none Author's Notes: Uh...hey, she has her G.E.D.! She hasn't done much yet, aside from tormenting poor Matt... I like her hair, although it is a pain to color. |
|
First appearance: Issue
15, page 1 Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Height: 5'4 Birthday: April 20 Age at first appearance: 20 Occupation: college student Powers: painfully changes into a cougar when she gets too cold Author's Notes: Cougar was based on the fact that I used to really love seeing live bands, and the fact that I like ginger ale. Nothing deeper than that. |

First appearance: Issue
15, page 1 (the bartender) First speaking role: Issue 16, page 1 Hair: Yellow Eyes: Orange Height: 5'8 Birthday: February 29 Age at first appearance: 26 Occupation: bartender Powers: can control light; also doesn't sleep Author's Notes: I actually had it figured out so that Lucia really could be born on February 29th and be the right age...but then I moved the whole Fox Tales story ahead a couple years, so I don't think it works anymore... I think her power is cool, but other than her cheeriness and a tendancy to flirt, she really doesn't have much of a personality. |

First appearance: Issue
3, page 11 First speaking role: Issue 16, page 13 Hair: Brown Eyes: Blue Height: 5'7 Birthday: March 6 Age at first speaking role: 26 Occupation: doctor Powers: can draw himself and whatever he's touching into alternate dimension where they are blind and only hear him and become invisible and like ghosts when touching him. (Confused yet?) Has a calming voice Author's Notes: I like his powers. He was actually based off a pilot (!)--when I was on a flight from Anaheim to Phoenix (or vice-versa), I was very nervous (even for me--I don't like flying) but the voice of the pilot over the intercom was very calming and made me feel better. He's good at being a doctor, too, with the calming voice, and he explains everything (it's a lot less scary that way!). I tried to model his hair off a classmate's--it was somehow messy and neat at the same time--and failed. |

3, page 15 First speaking role: Issue 16, page 13 Hair: Red Eyes: Turquoise Height: 5'7 Birthday: July 2 Age at first speaking role: 25 Occupation: designs/draws greeting cards Powers: can influence the emotions of others Author's Notes: Teri is often sick. Another character I feel sorry for. If more Fox Tales issues get drawn, she'll probably come in more. |
