The Healer and the Pirate |
A Christian romance set in a fantasy world... Nessa Pearson wanted a normal life, safe from the monsters of her past. But normal is hard to come by when you’re a blue-haired, white-skinned healer. When the dashing pirate Aridin Nightstar kidnaps her to save his ailing father, her sense of safety is shattered. Will the Savior protect her from greedy pirates and bloodthirsty bandits...and the handsome pirate who seeks her heart? Now available on Kindle, Nook, Smashwords, and in print! |

A girl is pulled into another world, a place where she is treated like a princess. But what is her purpose there? I'm hoping to eventually finish revising this, but since it's never going to be published, and since I've improved quite a bit since I wrote this, it's hard to get the motivation. |

Maybe she'd be better off with imaginaryfriends instead. "My Visitors: Carol's Story" (1996) The first story I managed to finish and remain satisfied with for any length of time. It's not awful. |

I've got several short stories written, though they tend to be depressing, which was what I was taught in school...If you want to read "Melinda" (fans of my comics may or may not recognize the reference), e-mail me and I'll send it to you. |

How does a woman deal with rejection? Especially if it's self-imposed? My Humanities teacher wanted me to write an "Underground Woman" story (based off concepts in Dostoyevsky's "Notes from the Underground") instead of a literary paper for my final project for the class. Actually, I kind of like this story now. And it was a lot more fun than writing a paper! |
A little project I did for a class. |
