((yada yada yada...to tired to go to sleep, to tired to write normal, and darn to tired..to draw...so here I am..the tired one^^*))

Alex was driving with Maeve and Serena.
Letting the wind hit his hair he felt the freedom of the day.
The sun has been up for a few hours, and the town was alive, waking from its night dreams.
Dreams that go nowhere, and nowhere fast.

For the only truth in the dreams are that one day you will wake up, to somthing better.

"So ladies, nice morin huh?"

Maeve is sitting in the backseat enjoying the breeze. Her eyes are closed and she mumbled, "Hmmm mmm."

Serena looked up into the sky. She pondered the role of the man that sat beside her. Never had she come to trust someone so quickly as she had Alex. When their eyes had met that first day she had just known that he was the one. "Any morning spent with you is a nice morning," She flirted playfully, and somewhere within her she found the courage to reach across and grab his hand.

He felt the soft hand, and he put his over hers, and brought it to lis lips.
He watched the road, wishing, that is would all disapear, and that it would only be him and Serena.
But then somthing slid in the back of his mind, somthing so horrid so terrifying!
Maeve was in the back seat.

"So where to ladies, the beach? a pinic? or a swimming pool?"

His eyes slid toward Serena's.

Serena smiled at him shyly, a blush tenting her cheeks. "How about a picnic on the beach?" She suggests timidly.

Maeve lets out a tired sigh in the back. "Whatever." As long as she could sit back and drink in the warm sunshine she didn't care what they did. She regretted the fact that she had to tag along but anything was better than spending a day with Fox.

Alex made a right turn, pulling in to a grocery store.
Remebering the one time they went, he laughed, as he opened the door for Serena and Maeve.

"Lets get some sandwiches for the pinic on the beach then."

His warm smile was cheerful, more cheerful then it had been a few weeks ago.
His void had been filled.

Maeve looked from the store to Alex and back again. She raised her eyebrow at him. "Are you crazy? They might not even let us in this place."

Serena shook her head and smiled secretively. "I'm sure they don't remember you." Serena's eyes sparkled with joy as she looked at Alex.

The two exited the car.

He opens the door for Serena, but as soon as Maeve and Alex walks in the clerk hides under the counter.

"umm..okay they do, lets just hurry and go...got a beach to go to.."

Serena smiled up at Alex, and guided him towards the bread and the other supplies that they would need.

Maeve followed silently behind the two love birds. Without them noticing, she made a sharp left and headed down the aisle towards the chocolate.

"So...do you like peanut butter and Jelly, I sure do, but if you wish I'll get you whatever you desire..."
He hugs her, not noticeing Maeve has slipped away.

Serena shrugged.
"Sounds fine to me."

A man walked up to Serena and smiled.
"Hello Serena, suprised to see you here on your day off."

Serena smiled back and introduced the two men, "Alex this is my boss, Michael Read. Michael this a friend of mine, Alex." She turned around to introduce Maeve but she wasnt there. "There was a third one of us but she seems to have disappeared."

Maeve was a few rows over trying to decide what kind of chocolate to get.

Michael smiled and walked off to take care of some business. Serena looked at Alex, "Now you know my secret." The corners of her mouth twitched, threatening to break out into a full grin.

A few rows away Maeve had picked up a handful of chocolate and was trying not to drop any as she made her way through the store.

Maeve came around the corner and bumped into Alex, dropping some of the chocolate. "oops."

"Thats gonna melt at the beach put it back!"

Maeve looked at Alex and pouted.
"But I want chocolate!!"
She stubbornly clung to the chocolate bars.

Serena laughed at the two of them and grabbed a loaf of bread, and peanut butter and jelly. Still chuckling she moved towards the register.

"alright buy the chocolate, but eat it quick."

He went over to help Serena.
"Serena, I'm sorry that we caused your work place so much trouble....ummm..."
He looked down.
"Did I look like a fool?"

Maeve grinned happily. "Yes, I got chocolate!" She bounces up and down a few times.

Serena put a hand on Alex's arm, "No, you didn't look like a fool." She squeezed his arm. She started to say something else but chickened out. Instead she blurted out, "Maeve on the other hand is crazy!"

"Dont say that about Maeve, shes just different..."
He grabs the chocolate from Maeve and begins to pay for it.
After all is runged up, and put in brown bags.

On the way over to the beach Maeve devoured almost all of the chocolate. She offered Serena and Alex some of it.

When they got there Maeve jumped out of the car and headed towards the water. Forgetting that there was stuff to unload.

Serena stayed behind with Alex to help.

Alex tired to carry on the heavy stuff, and let Serena take the lighter of the stuff.
"Now we can have fun..once we get this set up.."

He found a good spot and drouped the stuff.
"Peanut butter and jelly time!"
He started to fix himself a sandwich.

Maeve on the other hand had other things on her mind. She was running around the beach picking up shells. She soon found herself a rock and sat down to watch the waves.

Maeve and her friend had gone for a run along shore. They disappeared into the distance away from the crowd.

Serena smiled shyly at him. She walked out into the water until she was ankle deep. "The water feels great!" She said excitedly.

Maeve was returning from her run when she spotted the two of them standing at the waters edge. She snuck up behind them and gave Alex a shove into the water.

He got up and splashed water at Maeve, trying to miss Serena.

Maeve tried to get out of the way but she wasn't fast enough. Laughing, she splashed water at Alex, forgetting about Serena and soaking her as well.

Serena let out a little shriek and backed away. She stopped and splashed Maeve once before running to safety.

Alex ran torward Maeve, picking her up and ducking her head first in the water,but he couldnt hold her weight, and fell in with her.

"Oh man..Hey Serena, come help us..."
He winks at her.

Sputtering, Maeve came up for air. "Alex!" She splashed water on him a couple more times before pushing his head under. She quickly let go of him and went to get out of the water.

Serena pushed at Alex trying to get away. "Alex! You're all wet!" She laughed and gave in, hugging him back.

Maeve shrugged, "You never said anything about a movie. Besides, if you are going to go see the Jazz Singer I would rather go cause chaos and destruction elsewhere." She winked at him.

Serena rolled her eyes and squeezed Alex's hand. "I wouldn't mind seeing the Jazz Singer....again." She smiled secretively up at him.

Maeve began piling sand on top of Alex. She looked over at Serena and motioned for her to help.

Serena giggled and knelt down next to Maeve and began to pile sand on top of Alex also.

Maeve and Serena laughed at Alex but ignored his pleas for help. When they were finished Maeve picked up some sticks and place them around Alex. She lit them on fire. "Now Alexia is a little cupcake!" A giant wave came up and soaked the group.

Maeve throws a fireball at the little crab and burns it. "There, that will teach to go around pinching peoples noses off."

Serena started to dig Alex out of the sand. Meanwhile the burnt tries to runaway.

Maeve throws another fireball at it and scorches it. "Yummy. Crab legs." An idea forms in her head. "Lets go fishing! I wonder if my powers works underwater! Maybe I could catch them as they jump out of the water!"

Maeve went up to their picnic blanket and grabbed a knife. She cut the legs off the crab and took them back to Serena and Alex, she held them out, "Do you guys want some crab legs? Get them while their hot."
