maeveowens: MV: ::she's quiet, subdued, since she still doesn't want him to leave but she's gotten up to prepare a breakfast first though she isn't hungry. Surprisingly enough nothing was burnt.::

yarnkittymon: JH: ::comes down fairly early; he has to get to school; sits down, frowning suddenly when he notices the look on Maeve's face; softly:: You okay?

maeveowens: MV: :;forces a smile:: Yeah. I'm fine.

yarnkittymon: JH: ::sighs, wondering if she and Isaac had another fight::

quantumcatz: IS: ::comes into the kitchen, hesitating at maeve's expression, though smiling weakly at her::

maeveowens: MV: ::she offers him a sad smile before she turns to serve up the food she's fixed::

maeveowens: DK: ::she comes down and sits next to her brother:: It looks good Maeve but you should have woken me. I would have helped.

yarnkittymon: JH: ::Wishes Isaac and Dolly a good morning::

maeveowens: DK: ::smiles at her younger bro ~Tuesday September 8, 1936~ther but it fades when she really looks at the older two.::

maeveowens: MV: ;:she doesn't say anything until everything is on the table; quietly:: Josh do you want to wake the other two?

yarnkittymon: JH: ::nods, glancing at Isaac for a moment before rushing up to knock on the door of Leyla's room, figuring Eli's in there in his fox form:: Leyla? Eli?

quantumcatz: EK: ::growls softly at being woken up::

maeveowens: LA: ::she frowns, stretching. She smells food and her stomach rumbles:: Mmmmm

yarnkittymon: JH: ::smiles a little:: Maeve wanted you down for breakfast.

maeveowens: LA: ::her eyes pop open, surprised:: Maeve? Breakfast? ::she looks down at Eli::

quantumcatz: EK: ::grumbles again but jumps down off the bed::

maeveowens: LA: ::she slides out and reaches for her robe::

yarnkittymon: JH: ::when he figures they're awake, heads back downstairs to let them get dressed::

maeveowens: LA: ::once she's changed, she heads downstairs::

quantumcatz: EK: ::when he comes downstairs, he's still grumbling:: I don't have work till later, you know. What're you making breakfast for anyway?

yarnkittymon: JH: ::has sat back down; smiles sheepishly at his brother::

maeveowens: MV; ::she looks up then shrugs:: Thought it'd be nice if we had breakfast.. you're welcome to go back to sleep afterwards.

quantumcatz: IS: ::hesitates and then says softly:: It's cos i'm going away for a few days

yarnkittymon: JH: ::looks up curiously:: Why?

maeveowens: DK: ::her eyes widen and she looks up to, her food quickly forgotten::

quantumcatz: IS: ::shrugs, trying to make light of it:: I miss the water, just thought i'd take a break and go out on a boat for a bit

yarnkittymon: JH: By yourself?

maeveowens: MV: ::she winces and pushes the food around on her plate::

quantumcatz: IS: Yeah, it won't be for long

yarnkittymon: JH: ::quietly:: It's dangerous to go out on the water by yourself.

maeveowens: DK: ::quietly:: Josh is right... Eli could go with you, couldn't he?

quantumcatz: IS: I know how to handle a boat, Josh - i went out on my own back in Saxton

quantumcatz: EK: ::shrugs:: If he wants to go on his own, it's his choice

maeveowens: DK: ::softly:: Yeah but we lived right there and you haven't been in a while and that dream thing just happened... ::she looks between him and Maeve, frowning::

yarnkittymon: JH: ::nods; quietly:: You don't have to now, either; you have a job.

quantumcatz: IS: But I want to

yarnkittymon: JH: ::sighs, looking at his plate::

maeveowens: MV: ::she doesn't say anything::

maeveowens: DK: Is...is there something...wrong?

quantumcatz: IS: No, Dolly - i promise - i just want to take a break for a few days

quantumcatz: EK: ::reaches out for a piece of toast:: Huh. Sounds like running and hiding away to me

maeveowens: LA: ::she winces::

maeveowens: MV: ::she doesn't look to happy about that either, even guilty::

yarnkittymon: JH: ::softly:: I wish you wouldn't go on the water by yourself.

quantumcatz: IS: ::frowns at Eli since he isn't exactly one to talk but then turns to Josh:: I'll be fine.

maeveowens: MV: ::murmurs jokingly:: If he isn't he knows I'll kill him myself. And he's scared of me I'm sure. ::smiles weakly at her husband::

yarnkittymon: JH: ::still looks rather troubled; quietly:: I hope you have a good time, then.

quantumcatz: IS: ::smiles weakly:: Thanks

maeveowens: DK: ::she doesn't look happy about it but she says nothing else and it seems like Maeve's food has gone to waste, at least on her::

yarnkittymon: JH: ::does force himself to eat most of his breakfast before he has to leave for school; he gets up and hugs Isaac, harder than Isaac probably remembers him ever hugging; whispers:: Be careful.

quantumcatz: IS: You know I will

maeveowens: DK: ::she pushes her plate back and goes to hug her brother once Josh moves away:: I love you Isaac.

yarnkittymon: JH: ::still looks a bit dissatisfied, but says goodbye and heads off to school::

quantumcatz: IS: ::hugs Dolly too:: I love you too. But really, i'll be back before you know it

maeveowens: MV: ::she gets up to clear off the table as everyone says goodbye to him::

quantumcatz: EK: ::is still eating the toast, not saying anything::

maeveowens: LA: ::she looks up at Isaac, smiling slightly:: We'll miss you but I hope you have a good time.

quantumcatz: IS: Thanks, Leyla

quantumcatz: EK: ::stands up:: I'm going back to sleep ::looks down at his brother:: If you're not back in a week i'll come drag you back

quantumcatz: IS: ::laughs weakly:: You won't need to do that

maeveowens: MV: ::she's finishing up the dishes with Dolly's help::

quantumcatz: IS: ::after a few minutes he smiles at Maeve and then goes upstairs to pack::

maeveowens: MV: ::she waits downstairs, not wanting to watch him pack::

quantumcatz: IS: ::after he says goodbye to Olivia, who's asleep upstairs, he comes back down to Maeve, reaching for her hand:: I'll be home again soon

maeveowens: MV: ::she gives him a sad smile and nods her head:: I know.

quantumcatz: IS: I love you

maeveowens: MV: ::smiles a bit more and leans forward to kiss him:: I love you too.

quantumcatz: IS: ::kisses her back and then pulls away:: Be safe while i'm gone.

maeveowens: MV: ::quietly:: Of course.

quantumcatz: IS: ::smiles weakly and heads for the door::

maeveowens: MV: ::she follows him out but stops in the doorway with her arms hugging her middle::

quantumcatz: IS: ::turns to wave goodbye as he goes::

maeveowens: MV: ::she smiles and waves back to him. Once she can't see him, she goes back in and closes the door::
